This week’s writing prompt:
I realize that many of my prompts have been horror and fantasy focused, so this week I wanted to provide something a little more science fiction friendly. Your protagonist turns on/opens the news to find out that Earth has been contacted by another intelligent species. Who are they? Where are they from? What do they want? If you want to dive a little deeper, think about how this type of announcement may impact people on opposite sides of the political/societal spectrum.
