Payment: Short Stories pay $25, Flash fiction stories pay $5 plus five (5) contributor copies, Payment for artwork will be negotiated at the time of publication.
Theme: Horror where mental Images having unusual vividness and detail

Welcome to the home page for Eidetic. What is Eidetic you may ask? Well, it’s a quarterly digest featuring fresh new voices from the independent horror community. Each issue will feature original short stories and artwork. We are currently accepting submissions for our very first issue which we have scheduled for an October 2022 release.  Submission requirements are below.​

1. Short Stories between 2000 and 10000 words.

2. Flash Fiction stories under 1000.

3. All stories should be free of any rights issues. It’s okay if a story has been previously published as long as there are no issues that prevent the story being reprinted.

4. The authors retain all publishing rights to their original work. The only request we make is that if your story is chosen for publication, please don’t publish it anywhere else until the next issue of Eidetic is released.

The payment breakdown is as follows.

1. Short Stories pay $25.

2. Flash fiction stories pay $5 plus five (5) contributor copies.

3. Payment for artwork will be negotiated at the time of publication.

I know how hard it can be to get your foot in the door as a new writer and that is why I’m launching this magazine. I love a good story and hope to see the very best you have to offer.
