This week’s writing prompt:
Your character receives a summons to a will reading. This brings a huge discovery that they’re related to one of the wealthiest families in the country.
But then they receive another summoning a week later. Another family member has died.
Two deaths in the family and no one knows why. Is it a family curse? A disease? A serial killer?
Your character is mistreated by the rest of the family except by a tall, silent woman they’d seen at each will reading. A woman with a pearl necklace.
It is only at the third reading that your character notices that three of the pearls are black.
What happens next is up to you…Let your imagination run wild!
