Taking Submissions: Tales of Unseen Terror and Slumbering Horrors

Deadline: September 15th, 2015 Payment: 3% of sales. Twit Publishing is looking for submissions for our next anthology, “Twit Publishing Presents: Tales of Unseen Terror and Slumbering Horrors!” This collection will be based on Lovecraftian horror, which will not be based SOLELY on the Cthulhu mythos. The anthology will be based on the themes of Lovecraft for horror: anti-anthropocentrism, misanthropy in general, sanity’s fragility and vulnerability, preoccupation withviscerate texture, helplessness and hopelessness, and unanswered questions. Basically, anything that has the themes of Lovecraft’s works. Of course, all of the stories MUST be in the horror genre. The word count should be between 4000 and 9000 words. Taking Submissions: Winter Shivers

So, give us creepy and chilling, sending a shiver down our spines as we huddle near the fire and turn the yellow lamplight up a little brighter against the darkness. Ghosts, spectres, unearthly creatures and things that go bump in the night lurk just outside that lit window, and sometimes...they look inside. Taking Submissions: Strange Changes

Deadline: September 15th, 2015 Payment: $10 Our payment for stories is $10; we're interested in science-fiction, fantasy and (light) horror. Word count: 4000 tops. Our general rules are: (1) We hew to a PG standard and (2) Nothing that makes our editors sick. (3) PLEASE read our stylebook here. Our next anthology will be called "Strange Changes." This anthology will contain stories in which _one_thing_ in our world is changed. For example, war is ended. What would be the good -- and bad -- results? Or, animals can talk.
