Deadline: April 16th 2012 Payment: $3.00 and royalties Rymfire Sci-Fi (a new imprint of Rymfire Books) is proud to announce out latest project… Nonproliferation anthology “The Cold War is 20 years gone. Yet the looming omen of the End of Days still haunts us. The notion that Russia and America will obliterate us all with nuclear weapons seems unlikely. So how will the world end? And what will people do to survive it? Would the limited supply of copper lead to a massive communications breakdown? Would the continued genetic manipulation of crops lead to widespread crop failures? You picture the Apocalypse and write us a story in under 7500 words. Stories that will not impress us: Zombies, Dark Tower rewrites, or anything from the Twighlight Zone. They may be great, but they’re already done. Things that will grab our attention: stories with a conscience, stories that push the envelope with a new idea, and works that go beyond the typical wasteland.” We are also proud to have Boone Dryden back in the fold as well!
