Taking Submissions: From the Corner of Your Eye: A Cryptids Anthology
January 31, 2015
Deadline: January 31st, 2015
Payment: $25 (U.S. dollars) + Contributor’s Copy
The Jersey Devil.
Creatures moving in the twilight between fantasy and reality. Beasts that delight, mystify, and terrify. Cryptids are everywhere, in the water, running on the land, or even soaring overhead, challenging our faith in what science knows. From mermaids taunting our ships and Mexican goat suckers who feast on livestock (if we’re lucky) to the Jersey Devil soaring overhead, belief is only a blink away.
Great Old Ones Publishing is looking for original stories between 3,000 and 8,000 words.
We will only be accepting one story involving each type of cryptid, so be creative.
No Bigfoot/Yeti stories. That particular cryptid has already been filled for this anthology by invitation.
We are including cryptids list link. Please do your homework on the creature you select. CRYPTID LIST
