Taking Submissions: Alyss #5

- Alyss accepts submissions in poetry, fiction, creative non-fiction and art, by female identifying writers/artists, for the online literary journal Submissions for our January 2017 issue will be accepted until December 31, 2016 here: https://alyss.submittable.com/submit
- Simultaneous submissions are welcome but please notify us immediately if a work is accepted elsewhere.
- Previously published material will not be considered.
- In the cover letter section please include a short bio (in the third person) of up to 100 words.
- Please remove any identifying information from the submissions as we read blindly.
If accepted you agree to grant us First North American Serial Rights and the right to archive your work. Upon publication all rights revert back to the author. You also agree if your work later appears elsewhere you will credit Alyss as the original publisher.

Payment: Beginning with Issue Tre we will be paying a flat rate of $5 per piece published in the journal.
