ASSEMBLE is a production and IP creation company based in New York City, with a team that includes experts hailing from the distribution, sales, publishing, production, and finance worlds. Assemble’s multi-platform approach to creating content spans across film, TV, digital, comics, and literary.

Assemble projects seek to entertain by bringing a sense of wonder to audiences, while reflecting contemporary issues and inciting meaningful conversation.

We do not accept email or any submissions outside of the below form. 

Assemble Artifacts is looking for stories of wonder and suspense. We prefer stories of at least 5,000 words, but are open to longer and shorter works. Please include a one to three sentence pitch of your story, and an author bio with your submission. We are open to writers of all levels of experience. We can’t wait to read your submissions!

PAYMENT + RIGHTS If your story is selected Assemble Artifacts pays 8-10 cents per word for short fiction. We license exclusive worldwide all language first print/electronic publication, audio and media adaptation shopping rights for a term, as explained in our contract which will be provided to authors whose work we wish to publish.

I realize Assemble Media (and its companies and staff) are in the development, production and/or management of material for publishing, motion picture, television and/or other media and, as such, are likewise engaged in the search for material and literary properties and the development of ideas, stories and suggestions for exploitation in any and all entertainment media which said production or management necessitates. Such material, ideas or suggestions may relate to format, theme, characterizations, treatments and/or means of exploiting a production based on such ideas and suggestions once completed.

I warrant that I am the sole owner and author of the above described material, and that I have the full right and authorization to submit the material to Assemble Media.

Assemble Media shall not be under any obligation to me with respect to the submitted material except as may later be set forth in a fully executed written agreement between us.

I realize that Assemble Media may have access to and/or may have independently created or have had created ideas, themes, formats and/or other materials which may be similar to the theme, plot, idea, format or other element of the material now being submitted by me, and I agree that I will not be entitled to any compensation by reason of the use by you of such similar material.
