Horror Anthology Overview

We, at Harren Press, are hosting a horror anthology featuring an original Dan Shamble story by New York Times Best Selling author Kevin J Anderson! Two of you will be lucky enough to have your name on the same cover! But before that, your story must make the cut. Acceptances will be tough to come by. Send us your best, a story worth including next to a piece from an author famous for Dune, Star Wars, and the Saga of Seven Suns Series. We wish you much luck.

Rights

We purchase First Electronic, First Print, and Anthology Rights. Please remember that you can only sell your various “First” rights once. You will only be able to market your accepted story as a reprint, once we have published it, which may limit where you can submit it to in the future, and how much you may be paid for it. Only you can make this business decision for yourself.

Submission Requirements

1. We are looking for short stories between 2,500 – 7,500 words.

2. 100 dollars for best story, two 50 dollar honorable mentions, and 25 for everyone else.

3. Stories are to be submitted to [email protected] in .doc, standard manuscript format.

4. Send a 200 word (max) bio with your publication history (if feasible).

5. Limit of 7,500 words per author.
