The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon

“The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon” is an adapted series from the widely acclaimed zombie apocalypse television programme. The movie centres on the protagonist as he explores a world devastated by a global catastrophe and infested by zombies called “walkers” in the series. 

The series is portrayed as a fusion of horror cinema with aspects of Cirque du Soleil, where the zombies are embodied by dancers who exhibit unique and disconcerting movements. This provides an original and visually captivating perspective on the zombie style, enhancing the fear and unpredictability of the undead adversaries. Situated in the same world as “The Walking Dead,”  the narrative of Daryl Dixon unfolds in a new locale, France. After being washed ashore, Daryl faces the challenge of surviving in a fractured but resilient nation. It is set to be released on September 29 2024.

Nosferatu

Robert Eggers’ horror movie “Nosferatu” is a remake of the same-titled classic silent film from 1922. The narrative revolves around Ellen Hutter, who becomes the focal point of Count Orlok’s fascination. Thomas Hutter, her spouse, works as a real estate agent and is assigned to assist Orlok in buying a property in Germany. 

Aaron Taylor-Johnson portrays Friedrich Harding, while Willem Dafoe plays the peculiar vampire slayer Professor Albin Eberhart Von Franz. In an interview with Defoe reported on Yahoo, he praised the visuals of the movie and labelled its directing style articulate. Nosferatu attempts to revive the classic film while honouring its influential origins in German expressionism. The movie capitalises on Eggers’ passion for a thrilling horror show and does this excellently with a star-studded cast. It is scheduled to be released in theatres on December 25, 2024.

Marvel Zombies

Marvel Zombies is an animated movie inside the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The plot portrays a zombie apocalypse scenario in which several Marvel superheroes and supervillains have been transformed into reanimated undead beings. It will feature zombie versions of popular characters like Captain America, Abomination, Captain Marvel and Ikaris. Iman Vellani already announced that she would voice Ms. Marvel, one of the main characters in the show.

Speculation has spread that the programme will provide a fresh interpretation of Moon Knight without Marc Spector. Mahershala Ali’s Blade may also make its animated debut, but the producer has maintained that the adaptation won’t strictly adhere to the narrative in the comic. This is scheduled for release in 2024, but  a specific date is yet to be announced.
