We are looking for short fiction, long fiction, and poems for our body horror zine!

Body horror. Blood. Gore. We want Clive Barker, David Cronenberg, Mary Wollstonecraft Shelley, H.P. Lovecraft. We want Re-Animator, Horns, Cronos, Tusk. We want fixations of the flesh, mutations and metamorphosis, we want futuristic hideous deformities. We want to know what it means to be human, what it means to occupy a body, what it means to have a soul.

We want to know your animalistic desires, your hedonistic fantasies, your bloody fixations. Give us your gore. Give us your own flesh and blood. Give us your pain, your sorrow. But above all, give us your best.

Scare us. Make us feel uncomfortable. Make us question the skin we live in. And remember – write to impress our body horror specialist editor, Claire Fitzpatrick.

Short fiction – Up to 2,500 words
Long fiction – From 2,500 – 7,500 words
Poems – No line restrictions
