Support Your Indie Authors and Reviewers

This is a feature which I hope will help bring extra work to those who’ve been hit economically by Covid. If you’ve lost your day job, had hours cut, are struggling and have services to offer, a new venture, a patreon page to promote etc, let us know and we’ll plug them here.

Ben Eads, writer and editor, is in real need of editing work. If you require an editing service, check out his work, rates, and testimonials here.

Varian Ross is a disabled person who’s trying to find work during the pandemic and has started a Patreon for hiswriting: https://www.patreon.com/VarianRoss.  Prose is posted every Friday, and poetry every Monday. He is legally blind and can’t drive, which really impacts his job search.  He is looking for an at home job in the area of data entry work, or technical writing. Not sure if this is where to tell you, but you know one of your on/off team (she might go by Kai on here, but most places she’s ‘horror’ based, she uses Sabby/Sabrann) has had a really bad couple of weeks. Her hubby is leaving to work away for two weeks, and she doesn’t really do well with uncertainty, and while she’s been putting a positive face on it, her publishing calendar is all wonky, and she’s got her collection out soon (28th I think).
She’s a real sweetie, but she’s terrible at asking for help, so some of us are kinda….taking that out of her hands and contacting people and going….would you mind awfully?
(though, Stuart might already know – he’s spoken to me before, when we’ve done server stuff).
Anyway…If there is a nominations thing going on, I put Kai forward. I’m trying to get her to put her Patreon back up, but for now, she’s got her books coming back as we can get her there. If nothing else, it distracts her from ‘and have no clue what’s wrong with you’, and her son’s 3 kidney disaster that started this time last year (Titanboi is perfectly adequate now – healing well, but she’s holding down….trauma.)
    Thank you.

  2. Send me the details of the book with cover and link (if there is one yet) and I’ll get them added to our roundup. Use the contact email for the site and it’ll get to us. – Steph
