Taking Submissions: A Very Scary Christmas.

| October 25, 2012 | 0 Comments

Deadline: Open until full
Payment: 1 contributor’s copy

We are now open to submissions for our first Holiday Special Edition magazine–A Very Scary Christmas.

We are seeking stories with Christmas horror themes, and are open to many sub-genres, including, but not limited to, supernatural, psychological, and all things that go bump in the night. If your tale brings a chill to a reader’s spine and includes an element of Christmas, then it will more than likely be just what we are looking for. Add a drop or two of arsenic to a cup of eggnog and deadbolt the doors to keep Santa away, just in case he is actually an escaped patient from the local asylum, and submit your work to A Very Scary Christmas.

This special edition magazine, edited by Eva Glynn Stephens, will be released on December 17, 2012. At this time, our submission deadline has been set as OPEN UNTIL FILLED. We will begin reading submissions as they are received.

WORD COUNT: Up to 2,000 words, firm; flash fiction is welcome.
COMPENSATION: One (1) print contributor’s copy of A Very Scary Christmas.

Please do not send poetry, fan fiction, extreme horror, sci/fi, fantasy, or erotica.

Submissions should be sent to sgrichardson@ephemerapublishing.comas an email attachment. In your email subject line, please include the following information: SCARYXMAS/YOUR LAST NAME/TITLE OF WORK/WORD COUNT

Our standard guidelines, which can be found to the left, apply.

As always new writers are welcome!

We look forward to reading your work.
